Handle with care. The clay is durable and waterproof, but avoid excess force at the connection points, and since this pieces has charms, I recommend avoiding exposure to excess moisture. The metal used is hypoallergenic and nickel-free. Though unlikely, the resin coating may develop a slight yellowish discoloration if exposed to prolonged sunlight over time.
