Handle with care. The clay is durable and waterproof, but avoid excess force at the connection points, and if you have any charms or metal on your piece, I recommend avoiding exposure to moisture. Though unlikely, the resin coating may develop a slight yellowish discoloration if exposed to prolonged sunlight over time.
